Senior Kitchen Designer
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Kitchen Designer with a flair for creating beautiful designs to join our fabulous team as our business expands and rebrands. This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and creative designer to work in our stunning award\-winning showrooms in either Finchley Road NW3 6LB and also Hampstead Garden Suburb N2 0DR.
We offer Hacker, Nobilia and a fully bespoke English brand to accommodate all tastes, styles and budgets.
Your main focus will be working with our customers to design their dream kitchens. You will need to be attentive to customers' needs and demands and inspire them with ideas that will work for their space, lifestyle and budget. Attention to detail with plans is key so that installers can seamlessly fit the kitchens.
The role is targeted and you are expected to sell a minimum of 3\-4 kitchens per month.
We use Winner, so experience is helpful, and also Anthill to help streamline the sales process.
Uncapped commission with the realistic OTE £60,000\-£70,000 in year 1\.
Minimum 2 years' kitchen design experience of German brands.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and build rapport with customers to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences.
- Create detailed kitchen designs using Winner from architect plans or site surveys.
- Present design layouts to customers, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances to enhance the overall design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high\-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
- Upsell additional features or products that align with the client's vision.
- Maintain organised project documentation and client records.
- See projects through from the start to completion.
- 2 years minimum (German) kitchen design experience.
- Sales experience essential.
- Degree with technical background preferred but not essential.
- Winner design experience is preferred, CAD design experience is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas clearly to customers.
- A passion for interior and kitchen design with a keen eye for detail.
