About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our development team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high\-quality iOS applications for the financial services industry.
You will work on business\-critical mobile solutions where security, reliability, performance, scalability, and excellent user experience are essential. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, security specialists, QA engineers, and other stakeholders across the organization.
Main responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
- Take ownership of complex features and deliver high\-quality, production\-ready solutions.
- Develop secure mobile applications following financial\-industry and enterprise security standards.
- Work with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, async/await, and modern iOS architecture patterns.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication services, and backend systems.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2\.0, OpenID Connect, biometric authentication, and secure token management.
- Apply mobile security best practices, including secure data storage, encryption, certificate validation, and protection of sensitive information.
- Optimize applications for performance, stability and memory usage.
- Write comprehensive unit, UI, and integration tests and contribute to automated testing strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering standards.
- Stay current with the latest developments in the Apple/iOS ecosystem and mobile security.
- 7\+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in iOS development.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experienced and enthusiastic about writing well\-designed, testable, and maintainable software using native tools (Xcode, Swift and Objective\-C)
- Swift expert
- Good knowledge of Objective\-C
- Strong Unit Test design awareness
- Architectural mindset, aware of SOLID principles, focused on simplicity and readability of the codebase
- Good familiarity with iOS app architecture patterns and best practices
- Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other developers, UX and other stakeholders
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of iOS security features such as encryption, permissions, and authentication
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence
- Experience with UI tests
- Proficient in written and spoken Danish
