At Speedo, product has to do more than look good. It has to move with the swimmer, feel comfortable in the water and support performance, confidence and freedom of movement, whether someone is training, competing, learning or simply enjoying the swim.

The Senior Global Product Marketing Manager plays a lead role in shaping Speedo’s global product marketing strategy, translating innovation, performance and design into clear, compelling product stories that drive consumer understanding, desire and commercial impact.

Working closely with Product Creation, Brand Marketing, Go\-To\-Market, Social \& Community, Retail Experience, Commercial and regional teams, this role develops product positioning, messaging frameworks and launch narratives that connect Speedo’s product benefits to consumer needs and brand ambition.

The role helps ensure Speedo’s products are clearly understood, consistently positioned and effectively brought to life across markets, channels and seasons.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop global product positioning frameworks that clearly define target consumers, product benefits, reasons to believe and points of differentiation.

  • Translate technical innovation, performance attributes, materials, fit and design intent into clear consumer\-facing benefits and messaging.

  • Create and maintain product messaging hierarchies, feature/benefit frameworks and claim guidance to ensure consistency and accuracy across markets.

  • Shape product launch narratives and content priorities for key seasonal launches, innovation stories and hero products.

  • Partner with Brand Marketing to ensure product stories connect clearly to broader brand campaigns, seasonal themes and storytelling platforms.

  • Work with Go\-To\-Market to provide product clarity, messaging and toolkit inputs, while GTM leads seasonal orchestration and market rollout.

  • Partner with Product Creation, Innovation, Design and Merchandising teams to build a strong understanding of product intent, performance benefits and category priorities.

  • Collaborate with Creative, Copy, Social \& Community, Retail Experience and DTC teams to ensure product stories are translated effectively across content, retail, digital and social touchpoints.

  • Support regional and commercial teams with product marketing guidance, launch materials and storytelling tools that enable strong local activation.

  • Review product and launch performance, consolidating feedback and insights from markets, commercial teams and channels to improve future product storytelling.

  • Provide direction and support to the Global Product Marketing Executive, helping prioritise work and maintain strong quality standards across briefs, content and toolkits.
What you’ll bring:
  • Significant experience in product marketing, ideally within sports, performance, lifestyle or premium consumer brands.

  • Strong ability to translate technical or performance\-led product information into clear, compelling consumer benefits and storytelling.

  • Experience developing product positioning, messaging frameworks, launch narratives and product marketing toolkits across global or multi\-market environments.

  • Strong understanding of how product, brand, consumer insight and commercial priorities come together to support successful launches.

  • Confident working cross\-functionally with Product, Brand, GTM, Creative, Retail, Social, DTC, Commercial and regional teams.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence across teams.

  • Highly organised and detail\-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple launches, priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience guiding or developing junior team members would be beneficial.

  • Passion for sport, performance, innovation and consumer\-led product storytelling.
