Senior Functional QA Consultant

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Functional QA Consultant / Feature Quality Owner for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role is part of a critical project aimed at digitalizing the referral prescription process within the Belgian eHealth programme. The platform centralizes sensitive healthcare data, ensuring that prescriptions and treatment proposals are processed reliably and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse user stories and functional specifications to ensure full testability of healthcare workflows (shift\-left).


• Design and maintain functional test scenarios covering business rules and end\-to\-end processes.


• Identify functional gaps, edge cases, and integration risks across the platform.


• Maintain structured test cases and regression suites in a test management tool (TestLink or equivalent).


• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests across supported platforms.


• Ensure accurate tracking of test execution and defect status.


• Report on test coverage, execution progress, and defect follow\-up.


• Collaborate with development teams to analyse and resolve defects.


• Prepare and support User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders.


• Contribute to release validation and Go / No\-Go recommendations.


• Contribute to the automation of regression and functional test suites, in collaboration with the automation team.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in functional software testing.


• Proven experience as Test Analyst or Feature Quality Owner.


• Strong experience in test analysis, scenario design, and functional validation.


• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.


• Experience managing test cases in TestLink, Xray, Zephyr scale, Octane, or equivalent tools.


• Experience with Jira or equivalent tools.


• Experience supporting UAT campaigns with business stakeholders.


• Experience in test automation (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent).


• Fluent in both Dutch and French (mandatory \- bilingual NL/FR profile).

• Strong analytical mindset and structured testing approach.


• Ability to identify edge cases and functional inconsistencies.


• Strong focus on test coverage, execution discipline, and traceability.


• Team player.


• Clear and structured reporting of testing activities.


• Hands\-on mentality.


• Agile mindset.

• Experience in public sector or regulated environments.


• Experience testing multi\-system integrations.


• Experience validating multi\-platform applications (web and mobile).

• Dutch: fluent.


• French: fluent.


• English: good understanding.
