Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your expertise will drive continuous integration and delivery processes, optimize system performance, and ensure robust disaster recovery strategies. Duties

• Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, software deployment processes.


• Manage containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate scalable microservices architectures.


• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and PowerShell scripts to provision and configure cloud and on\-premises environments.


• Monitor application performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and implement proactive troubleshooting for software issues.


• Collaborate with development teams during requirements gathering to support software development lifecycle (SDLC), system testing, release management, and continuous integration initiatives.


• Design disaster recovery plans and execute incident response procedures to maintain system resilience in the face of outages or security threats.


• Manage cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack environments while ensuring compliance with security standards such as firewalls, TCP/IP configurations, DNS management, and network security protocols.

• Extensive experience with container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.


• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, Go, Node.js, YAML, and Shell Scripting for automation tasks.


• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet; version control systems including GitHub, GitLab; and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.


• Hands\-on expertise with cloud computing platforms: AWS (S3\), Azure (Active Directory), Google Cloud Platform; virtualization technologies like VMware; and SaaS solutions.


• Hands\-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Cloud Formation.


• Hands\-on expertise on Kubernetes services like EKS,AKS and GKE)


• Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture including RESTful APIs, JBoss application server management, SQL databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server T\-SQL), Oracle databases, DynamoDB.


• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk; incident management processes; firewall configuration; TCP/IP networking; DNS management; WAN/LAN troubleshooting; TCP socket programming; Active Directory integration.


• Knowledge of software development methodologies including Scrum; experience in requirements gathering; SDLC best practices; system testing; debugging; release management; software troubleshooting; continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
