Cementation Skanska is total foundation engineering company, with more than 100 years’ experience in the delivery of internationally recognised piling and ground engineering solutions. The role will be to work within teams to develop safe and cost\-effective engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients, ensuring that all relevant technical, health, safety and environmental standards are satisfied.

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer working with Cementation’s design team.

As theSenior Design Engineer, you will:

• Independently undertake analyses and produce calculations to satisfy the requirements of internal and external clients..


• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete all required tender and contract designs.


• Provide technical assistance to other the members of the team, pre\-construction and project delivery staff as required.


• Evaluate and integrate client’s requirements into solutions.

• We are looking for:


• Good working knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation.


• Comprehensive knowledge of common geotechnical \& structural design software packages (e.g. Wallap, Oasys suite, etc.).


• Excellent working knowledge of Eurocode and British Standards.


• Good understanding of materials and construction methods and processes.


• Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology degree (Bachelors or Masters)


• Relevant CSCS Card


• Incorporated or Chartered Engineer / Geologist or working towards.


• Registered Ground Engineering Professional or Specialist or working towards
