Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data / Reporting Developer to join our client team responsible for data modelling, ETL and reporting solutions supporting Seismic and similar reporting platforms.

The role requires strong hands\-on technical expertise in SQL, SSIS, ETL and data modelling, together with experience developing and supporting enterprise reporting solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, product owners, reporting teams and other technology stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable and high\-quality data solutions..

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain data models supporting reporting and analytics requirements.

  • Develop robustETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Write complex and optimised SQL queries, stored procedures and data transformation logic.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines feeding Seismic and/or similar reporting tools.

  • Analyse existing reporting solutions and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.

  • Work with business and reporting teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Perform data mapping, transformation and reconciliation across multiple source systems.

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness and consistency across reporting outputs.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root\-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

  • Support testing, deployment and release activities across development and production environments.

  • Produce technical documentation covering data models, ETL processes and reporting interfaces.

  • Work collaboratively with onsite and offshore technology teams.
Essential Technical Skills
  • Strong SQL Server / T\-SQL development experience.

  • Strong hands\-on experience with SSIS and ETL development.

  • Solid understanding of relational database design and data modelling.

  • Experience designing and implementing data transformation and integration processes.

  • Experience with enterprise reporting tools/platforms, preferably Seismic or comparable products.

  • Ability to analyse complex datasets and troubleshoot data\-quality issues.

  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting architectures.

  • Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries and ETL processes.

  • Strong software\-development lifecycle and Agile delivery experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous Seismic experience.

  • Experience with other enterprise reporting platforms comparable to Seismic.

  • Knowledge of financial\-services data and reporting standards.
