Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead our business intelligence initiatives in the UK. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, designing advanced analytical frameworks, pioneering predictive data models, and mentoring junior team members to foster a truly data\-driven culture.
The ideal candidate is a proactive data strategist who pairs deep technical mastery (SQL, Python, and data pipelines) with exceptional commercial acumen and the ability to influence cross\-functional business decisions.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Insights Delivery: Lead the exploratory data analysis of large, complex datasets to uncover hidden business opportunities, diagnose churn patterns, and drive strategic UK market growth.
- Advanced Analytics \& Modeling: Build, evaluate, and deploy predictive models, segmentation frameworks, and statistical forecasting tools using advanced Python or R libraries.
- Enterprise BI Architecture: Architect, scale, and optimize enterprise\-level business intelligence solutions and data models within visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Data Pipeline Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Engineering teams to refine ETL/ELT processes, define optimal data schemas, and ensure the reliability of cloud data warehouses.
- A/B Testing \& Experimentation: Design, execute, and analyze rigorous statistical experiments and A/B tests to measure the commercial impact of product features and marketing campaigns.
- Mentorship \& Leadership: Act as the technical lead for analytics, establishing best practices for code reviews, database querying efficiency, and dashboard design documentation while mentoring junior analysts.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex data architecture and analytical concepts into high\-level strategic narratives, presenting recommendations directly to C\-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
- Experience: Extensive, proven professional experience as a Senior Data Analyst, BI Lead, or Strategic Insights Specialist within the UK market.
- Expert\-Level SQL: Mastery of SQL, including deep expertise in database performance tuning, complex analytical window functions, and managing unstructured or relational data structures.
- Programming \& Scripting: Strong hands\-on proficiency with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn) or R for advanced statistical analysis, machine learning applications, and data cleaning.
- Cloud Data Warehousing: Practical experience working with modern cloud data infrastructure and warehouses such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
- Data Visualization Expertise: A proven track record of designing executive\-ready, highly interactive dashboards that drive automated decision\-making across complex business units.
- Statistical Foundation: Strong understanding of core statistical concepts, including regression modeling, hypothesis testing, significance levels, and sample size calculations.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional ability to map complex data insights directly to commercial goals, financial metrics, and operational performance indicators.
- Communication \& Influence: Masterful storytelling and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide, influence, and align cross\-functional stakeholder teams.
