Senior CRM Marketing Executive
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior CRM Marketing Executive to deliver the Ellisons customer retention and growth strategy with the Head of Digital Marketing
Creates compelling campaigns and lifecycle automations, that resonate with target audiences, to improve open rate, click rate and conversion
Regularly analyses data to recommend and implement performance improvement initiatives for CRM campaigns and automations
A self\-starter as well as a personable team player, who collaborates with other team members to deliver campaigns, product launches and achieve overall business goals
Experience ideally within B2B ecommerce, and in the hair and beauty space, or a passion for this sector, is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with Head of Digital Marketing and Senior Marketing Executive to define and deliver the promotional and educational CRM campaign calendar in line with the marketing strategy and business requirements
- Successfully create, manage and optimise engaging CRM campaigns from brief to execution
- Plan, develop and optimise data\-driven, personalised, segmented customer lifecycle automations
- Build and refine different customer segmentation groups, ensuring they are targeted with the right content and promotions
- Improve customer retention and deliver incremental revenue growth with a test and learn approach
- Continually monitor and analyse CRM performance using relevant tools and reports, including Klaviyo, Google Analytics and BigCommerce, to evaluate email effectiveness, identify opportunities and deliver recommendations
- Create weekly and monthly reporting on CRM performance
- Work with key stakeholders to deliver the Ellisons loyalty scheme
- Maintain excellent database hygiene, including suppression lists, GDPR compliance, cyber security and other legal requirements, and that good working practices are adhered to
- Achieve personal, team and company KPIs, including improving email conversion, increasing average order value and revenue, and driving lifetime customer value
- Carry out any other duties, within reason, as defined by the Head of Digital Marketing
- Strong experience in owning or supporting and delivering CRM strategies, including email, SMS and loyalty. Push is an advantage
- Clear understanding of best practices, including RFM segmentation, ESPs, with a proven track record of success
- Proficiency in using CRM tools. Experience with Klaviyo and BigCommerce is an advantage
- Customer\-first mindset, commercial acumen, with excellent problem\-solving skills
- Strong writing and communication skills, plus a creative flair, to deliver compelling CRM campaigns and automations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data\-driven decisions, and able to think critically
- Confident working independently and as part of a team or project group
- Working knowledge of creative tools such as Photoshop and Canva is ideal
