Senior Care Worker – Domiciliary Care

Location: Coventry
Salary: £14\.25 \- £14\.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Worker to join our domiciliary care team in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

• Carrying out staff competency checks to ensure care workers are delivering care safely and to the required standard


• Conducting spot checks on care workers and care calls


• Completing client assessments and contributing to ongoing reviews


• Developing, reviewing and updating person\-centred care plans


• Monitoring the quality and consistency of care being delivered


• Supporting care workers with advice, guidance and day\-to\-day queries


• Identifying training, development and support needs within the care team


• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation


• Monitoring clients' wellbeing and escalating any concerns appropriately


• Supporting with safeguarding and incident management where required


• Assisting with the coordination of care services


• Covering care calls when required, including personal care and other support


• Working closely with clients, families, care workers and management


• Ensuring company policies, procedures and regulatory standards are followed


• Take part in the out of hours on call rota

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous care experience, ideally within domiciliary care


• Experience working in a senior care worker or supervisory role


• A good understanding of care planning, assessments and person\-centred care


• Confidence carrying out competency checks and monitoring care standards


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• A professional, reliable and proactive approach


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Good knowledge of safeguarding and safe working practices


• A genuine passion for delivering high\-quality care


• A full UK driving licence


• Access to your own vehicle

You should be confident working in an office environment while also being willing and able to provide hands\-on care when required.

Pay: £14\.25\-£14\.50 per hour
