An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Oral \& Maxillofacial Team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fixed term role for 12 months.

The successful candidate will be placed within the Oral \& Maxillofacial Directorate with clinical duties covering the inpatient wards and outpatient clinics with commitments to participate in the day, weekend, twilight and night registrar on call rota.

The post\-holders will be expected to support the continuing care of ENT in\-patients and participate on the registrar on call rota with appropriate banding.

The post\-holder will be expected to participate in audit meetings and will be welcome to participate in any available further training and study opportunities.

Attending ward rounds

Attending MDT meetings

Undertaking routine clinical procedures on wards

Seeing ward referrals and outliers

Opportunity to gain experience in specialty relevant and GIM procedures

Follow up management of acute inpatients

Prescribing

Discharge summaries

Contributing to quality improvement across the pathway

Working as equivalent to junior registrar level on call.
