We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer to join our team in providing exceptional care within a care home environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of care assistants, ensuring the delivery of high\-quality care in accordance with care plans and organisational policies


• Oversee the implementation of individualised care plans, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet residents’ needs


• Support residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and meal preparation


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to legal and organisational standards


• Foster a warm, respectful environment that promotes residents’ dignity and independence


• Assist with organising activities and social engagement programmes for residents


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home setting


• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate resident care

Skills

• Proven experience in senior or supervisory roles within a care home setting or senior care environment


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of carers


• Excellent communication skills for liaising with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals


• Competence in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs


• Ability to utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes effectively


• Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting residents’ outings or appointments


• Knowledge of health \& safety regulations relevant to residential care environments

Pay: £13\.78 per hour
