Senior Carer - Night Duty - Part/Full Time Vacancies

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Shift Senior Carer to join our team, providing exceptional care to residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a Senior Role and Dementia Care, with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.


• Administer medication in accordance with prescribed care plans, ensuring accuracy and safety.


• Support residents with specialised needs such as Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, employing behaviour management techniques.


• Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual requirements.


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, observations, and any changes in residents’ conditions.


• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring environment.

• Proven experience in residential/nursing homes, assisted living facilities or home care environments specialising in Adult and Dementia Care.


• Relevant certifications such as Care Certificate, Level 2 Health and Social Care highly desirable.


• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures.


• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice care, and behaviour management strategies.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high standards of patient care.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.


• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience when caring for vulnerable adults. This position is integral to delivering compassionate, professional care that respects the dignity of each resident while supporting their health and wellbeing within a nurturing environment.
