We are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Senior Care Worker to join our dedicated team and help provide outstanding support to the people who live in our home.

The Role

As a Senior Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to achieve their personal goals, maintain independence, and enjoy meaningful lives. You will also lead and support care staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of care and compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high\-quality, person\-centred support to residents.


• Leading shifts and acting as a role model for the care team.


• Administering and recording medication in line with policies and procedures.


• Supporting residents with daily living activities, personal care, and social inclusion.


• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals.


• Supervising and mentoring support staff.


• Contributing to care planning, risk assessments, and review meetings.


• Ensuring accurate record keeping and documentation.


• Promoting safeguarding, dignity, choice, and independence at all times.


• Assisting management in maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.

Essential

• Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities.


• Experience in a senior support worker or senior care worker role.


• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).


• Knowledge of safeguarding, medication administration, and person\-centred care.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.

• NVQ/QCF Level 4 or 5 in Health \& Social Care.


• Experience working with individuals who may display behaviours of concern.


• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).


• Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £14\.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21\.5 per week
