Senior Care Assistant

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive care home team. If you’re passionate about delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care and leading by example, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent personal care and emotional support to residents


• Support and supervise care staff on shift


• Assist with medication administration


• Maintain accurate care records and digital care planning


• Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all residents


• Act as a role model and support the care team day to day


• Care plan, and risk assessment experience


• Work with the Registered Manager to develop the home.

• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant (or strong experience as a Care Assistant ready to step up) be able to direct and support staff to achieve good standards of care


• Medication competent


• NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (or working towards it)


• A caring, reliable, and professional attitude


• Good communication and leadership skills
