Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced night Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated team within our newly registered care home. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management in accordance with care plans


• Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high standards of care are maintained


• Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs


• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to legal and organisational standards


• Promote independence and dignity among residents through respectful communication and personalised support


• Organise activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation for residents


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment

• Proven experience working in senior care or within a care home setting, with supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred


• Strong understanding of senior care principles, including dementia care


• Experience in developing and managing care plans effectively


• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising confidently with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams


• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding care


• Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes


• Experience in medication administration

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £13\.37 per hour
