We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team at a well\-established residential care home in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional care and support to our elderly residents while helping to lead and inspire a committed care team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and supervise the care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Motivate, support, and guide Care Assistants to deliver outstanding person\-centred care.
- Assist the management team with the smooth day\-to\-day running of the home.
- Administer medication safely in accordance with training, policies, and best practice.
- Monitor medication stock levels and arrange reordering when required.
- Maintain accurate care records and contribute to the development and review of care plans.
- Act as a senior point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and colleagues.
- Support residents with all aspects of personal care while promoting dignity, independence, privacy, and choice.
- Ensure all care is delivered in line with CQC standards, company policies, and current legislation.
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, or in a similar senior care role.
- Experience administering medication safely and confidently.
- Previous experience working within an elderly residential care setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A compassionate, professional, and person\-centred approach to care.
- Good written and verbal English with confidence completing care documentation.
- Flexibility to provide additional cover for sickness and annual leave when required.
- A genuine passion for improving the quality of life of older people.
