Senior Care Assistant - days

We are currently recruiting for Senior Care Assistant

We believe in supporting the residents at Hemsworth Park to live their lives as independently as possible and support them in reaching their goals and aspirations, through both practical and emotional support.

Your Duties As A Senior Care Assistant will include:

• Delivering person\- centered care to each of our residents


• Supporting with administering medications \- monitoring stock, ordering medications


• Liaising with professionals and family members


• Supporting with residents general health and well being needs


• Supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene


• Communicating to each resident in their preferred way or needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g. sounds, tones, body language


• Working with significant people in our resident’s life, such as friends and family, by giving them confidence and reassurance and involving them in our resident’s care
