What is required from you?
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK

  • Multiple shifts available

A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant
  • Health and Wellbeing \- You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients

  • Personal care \- You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care

  • Meals and domestic tasks \- You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks

  • Mobility \- You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible.

  • Social activities \- You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home

  • Medication \- You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams

  • Mentorship \- As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them

  • Spot checks \- You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager
