Senior Cardiac Physiology Assistant
The Cardiac Physiology Service, based within the modern Essex Cardiothoracic Centre at Basildon Hospital, is seeking a dedicated Senior Cardiac Physiology Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a full time role (37\.5 hours per week), with some flexibility in the shift pattern to meet the needs of the service.

Our team provides cardiac diagnostic services across both Basildon District Hospital and the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, a regional centre of excellence for cardiac care and interventions. As an accredited Training Centre, we offer comprehensive professional development, supported by a dedicated Training Officer.

The Senior Cardiac Physiologist Assistant will carry out a range of cardiac diagnostic investigations, including recording and interpreting 12\-lead Electrocardiograms (ECGs), as well as fitting and analysing blood pressure (BP) and long\-term ECG monitors. The postholder will also support Cardiac Practitioners and Clinical Scientists during exercise treadmill and echocardiography stress tests, ensuring high\-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
