Senior Assistant Manager Wanted

The Bierkeller is a multi\-site hospitality brand with locations in Liverpool, Nottingham and Birmingham, and Klubhaus by The Bierkeller locations in Saltaire and Grantham. We’re famous in Nottingham for sport, student events, our long benches, two\-pint steins, Oktoberfest, and Bavarian bierhaus buzz!

Inside our Bierkeller venues you’ll find The Bierkeller Lodge, a space for cocktails, food, and late night DJs. Shooters, our American\-themed sports and games bar with 20\+ TVs, and the heart of our venues and the home of The Bierkeller Live and Oktoberfest, The Bierkeller Hall.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Assistant Manager at our site in Nottingham.

You will assist the General Manager in leading a team to deliver an experience that distinguishes The Bierkeller as one of the first\-choice spots in town for Live music, Sports, casual dining, student events, and much more. The right person will have a hands\-on approach to management and a positive attitude. We empower and expect our site teams to be proactive and take accountability for the direction and growth of their venue. This means you'll get exposure and input into menu development, offers, entertainment, events, sales and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the General Manager in the day to day operations of the venue

Stock and cellar management

Delivering customer experience with passion and making every customer visit with us memorable

Recruiting, training and managing a bar, floor and kitchen team and working with external security, cleaning, and entertainment teams

Delivering private functions and events to a high standard

Marketing and promoting the venue to increase revenue and hit targets, alongside our Sales \& Events and Marketing teams

Health \& Safety management

Running the venue to a high standard in the absence of the General Manager

We’re looking for someone:

Hard\-working and passionate about hospitality

Able to engage with customers and create a memorable experience

Able to motivate and manage a large team over multiple floors

With a strong eye for detail and high standards

Friendly and sociable

With minimum 2 years’ experience in a Supervisor or Management role in hospitality

What you can expect from us:

A salary of up to £35,000

45\-hour per week contract

Employee discount on food and drinks (50%) at all our venues

Flexible rotas based on events and sport, as well as bookings

Pay: Up to £35,000\.00 per year
