Founded in 2015, the business is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan over the next year and is seeking a new Senior Account Executive, reporting directly to the Head of Insurance, to catapult the business through this exciting period. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious leader, with relevant commercial insurance technical knowledge and experience, to play a critical role in driving forward the business through this exciting expansion period.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with a solid understanding of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are identified and fulfilled.

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.

  • Present and sell insurance products to clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.

  • Provide expert advice on insurance policies, coverage options, and benefits.

  • Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and finalise sales deals.

  • Collaborate with underwriters to assess risks and determine appropriate coverage options.

  • Ensure all client documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to remain competitive.

  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth.

  • Adhere to FCA regulations and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records using Acturis, our CRM software.

  • Support and guide clients through the claims process.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably within the insurance industry.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.

  • A university degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Native\-level English speaker; additional language skills are advantageous.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Goal\-oriented with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Proficiency in Acturis or similar CRM software, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
