THE OPPORTUNITY
A Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.
As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:
- Working with clients to fully understand and meet their needs, ensuring client satisfaction and generating more work from existing clients
- Preparing management accounts, self assessments, work papers, year end accounts and corporation tax returns for review
- Reviewing management accounts, self assessment tax returns and VAT returns prepared by Accounts Assistants and Trainee Client Advisors
- Supporting the client onboarding process
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure information is collected, and client queries are responded to in a timely manner

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:
- ACCA / ACA Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
- Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3+ years)
- Experience of Bookkeeping, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts
- Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
- Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
