As a Senior Account Executive at EG, you will play a key role in securing future growth within the Danish Public Sector \- specifically Healthcare and Citizen Welfare \- a division that sits at the heart of EG's commitment to digitalizing critical public services across the Nordics. This is a relationship\-focused, enterprise sales role where you will own key accounts and build deep partnerships across multiple decision\-making levels in Danish municipalities and regions. You will drive long\-term growth through trust, market insight, and consistent presence – not just as a vendor, but as a strategic partner your customers rely on.

AI is rapidly changing what is possible in the public sector, and EG is committed to being at the forefront of that shift. As part of this role, you will actively contribute to positioning EG as a front runner in AI\-driven solutions – helping customers understand and embrace how intelligent automation and data\-driven tools can increase efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and ultimately improve services for citizens.

Your Role: Driving Growth \& Owning Strategic Partnerships in the Danish Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive who combines commercial drive with the ability to engage credibly at all levels of a complex organization from operational leads and IT managers to CFOs, HR directors, and political administration.

Our portfolio covers a broad range of critical municipal operations – including payroll, finance, and workforce scheduling, social care and casework, and citizen\-facing services – helping organization run more effectively while keeping citizens at the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach, sector networks, and deep knowledge of the municipal and regional landscape.

  • Monitor the market proactively, tracking upcoming tenders, framework agreement renewals, and procurement cycles to ensure EG is engaged and visible long before a formal process begins.

  • Own the full sales cycle for mid\-market and enterprise accounts across Danish municipalities and regions, with full responsibility for pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, and revenue growth.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across multiple levels of the customer organization including HR, finance, operations, IT, and senior leadership ensuring EG is positioned as a long\-term partner, not a transactional supplier.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in CRM, supporting forecasting and strategic planning, applying MEDDPICC in sales process.
Your Profile: A Commercially Driven Sales Professional with Public Sector Expertise
  • A broad understanding of the Danish public sector, how municipalities and regions are governed, how budgets and procurement work, and how strategic decisions are made at both political and operational level is considered a clear advantage.

  • You are driven by creating new opportunities and deepening existing relationships, comfortable opening doors through your own initiative as well as nurturing accounts over time.

  • You have hands\-on experience with public procurement and tender processes, SKI \& EU and know how to position effectively within formal buying structures and framework agreements.

  • You have a proven track record of achieving targets acting like a trusted advisor, long sales cycles, and multi\-stakeholder processes.

  • You carry the mindset that drives results in EG: Focused. Customer\-first. Skilled. Collaborative. Adaptable.

  • Proficiency in Danish and English is required.

  • You are based in Denmark, either Jutland or Funen.
