Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (Specialist Support)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term / Permanent opportunities
Salary: £85–£105 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role A supportive school in Brent is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
- Assist with implementing EHCP targets and strategies
- Support classroom engagement and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
- Assist with behaviour management and structured interventions
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
- Supportive and inclusive school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
