About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping someone grow, communicate, and live more independently? Join a well\-established, successful home\-based education program in Pudsey (Leeds), and support an inspiring 18\-year\-old autistic young man with learning disabilities.

No experience? No problem. We’ll provide professional, hands\-on training in leading therapeutic techniques — including ABA, Speech \& Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration, Verbal Behaviour, and more.

Role Snapshot

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant / ABA Therapist


• Type: Part\-time, Self\-employed


• Pay: £17\.00 – £20\.00 per hour


• Location: Pudsey, Leeds (free on\-site parking)

What You’ll Do

• Support a young adult with autism in daily routines and communication.


• Participate in both indoor learning sessions and outdoor activities like swimming, biking, trampolining, gym and rock climbing.


• Help implement structured therapy programs, with the support of a skilled multi\-disciplinary team.


• Track progress and adjust strategies with regular expert\-led training.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Kind, patient, and genuinely motivated to support individuals with autism


• Excellent focus and attention to detail


• Willingness to learn and grow


• Positive, team\-oriented mindset


• Must be able to reliably commute to Pudsey

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience working with autism, ABA, VB, or SEN children/young adults


• Experience with Intensive Interaction, Speech Therapy, or Occupational Therapy


• 1 year\+ of care, TA, or support experience


• Driving license and access to a car
