Pay:
- Learning Support Assistants: £14.75+ per hour
- Teachers: MPS/UPS (£32,916 – £51,048)
Contract Type: Multiple roles available – permanent, temporary, and supply placements
About the Roles Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools and specialist provisions across Totton and the surrounding Hampshire/New Forest area to recruit qualified Teachers and Learning Support Assistants.
We have multiple opportunities available for candidates ready to start immediately and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs. Schools are supportive and well-connected, with roles available across Totton and nearby areas such as Southampton, Hythe, and the Waterside communities.
Role ResponsibilitiesTeachers • Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs, and the wider school team
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants
- Candidates passionate about supporting pupils in SEND settings
- Individuals who hold an enhanced child-only DBS (or are willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
