Pay: £107-120 per day

SEN Learning Support Assistant - Southwest London We are partnering with SEN schools across Southwest London to recruit dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to support students with special educational needs and learning difficulties. These are full-time, term-time positions, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN or additional needs, ideally within an educational or specialist setting. You will provide tailored support to help students engage with learning, develop their confidence and make meaningful progress.

Responsibilities for SEN Learning Support Assistant:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.


• Adapt support to meet individual learning and developmental needs.


• Encourage students to engage positively with their learning.


• Support students' academic, social and emotional development.


• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.


• Work closely with teachers and wider school staff to support individual student needs.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting students with SEN or additional needs.


• Good understanding of SEN and learning difficulties.


• Patient, empathetic and nurturing approach.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Resilient, reliable and committed to supporting student progress.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.


• Relevant qualifications, SEN training or experience within a specialist setting is highly desirable.
