We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Bristol this September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role based within a specialist resource base, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

The role: • Supporting pupils within a specialist resource base

  • Delivering tailored interventions and personalised learning activities

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and the SEN team

  • Promoting communication, independence and emotional regulation

  • Helping create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with EHCP targets and individual pathways

We’re looking for someone who: • Has essential experience supporting children with SEND
  • Has worked within specialist settings, resource bases or SEN units

  • Understands autism, communication needs and sensory strategies

  • Can build positive relationships and maintain high expectations

  • Brings patience, consistency and a sense of humour to each day

  • Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential

Pay This role offers £90–£110 per day PAYE, depending on experience, training and responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted include statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
