Self-Employed Companion Carer – Stroke Recovery Support (CM2)

We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and reliable self\-employed companion carer to support a lovely client living in the CM2 area.

The role involves providing companionship and encouragement to support the client's ongoing recovery following a stroke. A key aspect of the role is helping to motivate and engage the client in conversation and communication activities to support speech and confidence.

This is a companionship\-focused role and no personal care is required.

Working Hours:

• Wednesday afternoon – 2 hours


• Saturday or Sunday morning – 2 hours

About You:

• Caring, patient, and empathetic


• Confident communicator with good listening skills


• Reliable and punctual


• Able to encourage and motivate others


• Experience supporting people following a stroke is desirable but not essential

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting people to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
