We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, conducting surveillance, and preventing loss. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will help protect our clients’ assets and ensure smooth operations across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity and identify potential security threats or irregularities
- Conduct surveillance patrols around the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behavior and managing access points effectively
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and surveillance logs
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff to control access to the facility
- Collaborate with emergency responders during incidents to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism
- Basic first aid certification is desirable to respond effectively in emergencies
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying suspicious activity or safety hazards
Pay: £12\.71\-£12\.72 per hour
