Job Summary

In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the premises through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to security incidents. Duties

• Monitor the premises continuously using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed


• Conduct regular surveillance patrols throughout the site to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access


• Implement loss prevention measures by inspecting bags, packages, and personnel as needed


• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary


• Maintain detailed records of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance logs for accountability and review


• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors


• Collaborate with emergency services and internal teams to coordinate responses during incidents or alarms

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for effective monitoring


• Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and asset loss


• Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations


• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance tasks


• Clear communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and liaising with emergency responders


• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple security responsibilities


• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts
