We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West of England
Location: Manchester
Hours: 45 per week \- some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our water business team as a Section Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the technical excellence of our projects. You'll work collaboratively with talented professionals to deliver safe, high\-quality engineering solutions that make a real difference to the communities we serve. What will you be responsible for?
As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within our water business team, supporting them in delivering exceptional engineering projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards
- Reviewing engineering drawings and conducting site inspections to maintain quality
- Collaborating with project teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
- Maintaining accurate project records and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies
- Promoting health, safety, and environmental best practices across all site activities
This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- You have an understanding of consents, logistics, and traffic management
- You're aware of commercial processes and how they support project delivery
- You have experience in people and project management
- You're working towards or hold Chartership with ICE, IStructE, or similar professional body (desirable)
