Newtown Nursery School is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic School Business Support Officer 3 to join our friendly and hardworking team.

This is a key role responsible for supporting the administration, finance and business functions of the school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager to ensure efficient and effective systems are in place across the school.

Essential Qualifications
GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

  • Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience.

  • CSBM

Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Essential Experience

  • Experience of working in an administrative environment.

  • Experience of using computerised systems and databases.

  • Experience of producing reports and maintaining accurate records.

  • Experience of dealing with confidential information.

  • Experience of working independently and prioritising workloads.

Experience of communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.

  • Experience of working within a school or educational setting.

  • Experience of school finance systems.

  • Experience of HR administration.

  • Experience of budget monitoring.
