Administration Officer

Salary: £25,000 p/a (pro rata) (dependent on experience)

Hours: The postholder will be required to work 20 hours across five mornings a week, 42 weeks p/a (to include INSET days).
Location: HTET Learning Centre(s), predominantly in Wellington, but with regular travel to our Misterton site.
Reporting to: Office Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, professional and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our Learning Centre(s), providing high\-quality administrative support to staff, pupils, parents/carers and external agencies.

As the first point of contact for many visitors and enquiries, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and professional reception service while supporting a wide range of administrative, HR and financial processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administrative experience in a busy office environment.

  • Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and database systems.

  • Can prioritise competing demands and work accurately under pressure.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively while also being able to work independently.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Experience within a school or educational setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
