Gas Heating Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair gas heating systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations


• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance


• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to complete tasks efficiently


• Carry out basic carpentry and assembly work related to heating system installations


• Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely and effectively


• Troubleshoot mechanical faults using specialised knowledge and diagnostic tools


• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies

• Proven experience as a Gas Heating Engineer or similar role within the heating or plumbing industry


• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems


• Experience working with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently


• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
