We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable School Immunisation Administrators to join our Immunisation and Vaccination Service. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines administration with working directly in schools to support the delivery of vaccination programmes.
About the Team
This post is based within the North Warwickshire Immunisation Team, delivering vaccination programmes in schools and community clinics across the area.
The Immunisation Service operates as one service across North Warwickshire, South Warwickshire and Coventry, with three local teams working together. While this role is primarily based in North Warwickshire, there may be occasions where staff support colleagues in other areas to help meet service needs.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting a busy vaccination session in a secondary school, and the next you could be helping to coordinate clinic administration or responding to queries from parents and schools.
High level of computer work.

What you'll be doing
As a School Immunisation Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our vaccination sessions run safely, efficiently and positively for children, young people and schools.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting school\-based immunisation sessions across the local area.
Welcoming and checking children into vaccination sessions using the Mavis system.
Liaising with school staff to ensure sessions run smoothly.
Helping to organise waiting areas and support the flow of pupils through the session.
Assisting nurses during vaccination sessions by directing pupils and providing reassurance.
Recording vaccine numbers and supporting the reconciliation of vaccines administered.
Promoting positive health messages and supporting health promotion activities.
Responding to routine enquiries from parents, schools and colleagues professionally and confidentially.
Maintaining accurate records in line with General Data Protection Regulations and Information Sharing requirements.
Providing administrative support including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, filing, photocopying and routine correspondence.
