We're looking for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator (9\-Month Fixed\-Term Contract) to support the planning, coordination, and optimisation of our operational field services. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with strong scheduling and resource planning experience to play a key role in delivering efficient service operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate and optimise schedules for field engineers and operational teams to meet business priorities and service targets.
- Monitor resource capacity, utilisation, and workload allocation to ensure effective service delivery.
- Track progress against plans and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and potential delays.
- Work closely with project managers, service operations teams, and engineers to balance demand and capacity.
- Analyse scheduling performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, skills, and workforce data.
- Support testing and implementation of system updates and process improvements.
- Ensure KPI and SLA targets are achieved through effective planning and prioritisation.
- Provide guidance and support on complex scheduling and resource management activities.
- Monday to Friday: shifts are 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm. Hybrid working is available after training.
- Proven experience in resource planning, workforce management, scheduling, or service coordination.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning and resource optimisation.
- Experience using workforce management or scheduling systems.
- Excellent organisational, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Salary up to £32,000
