SAP IAM Security Specialist

Role: SAP IAM Security Specialist

Location: Hybrid, Porto, Portugal (1x/week)

Required skills:

• 5\+ years of proven experience as an SAP IAM Security Specialist or similar role;


• Strong experience with SAP authorization concepts and Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles;


• Experience translating business access requirements into scalable technical authorization models;


• Strong understanding of IAM and authorization lifecycle processes, including provisioning, access reviews, recertifications, and deprovisioning;


• Experience with SAP authorizations, including PFCG roles and role engineering concepts;


• Knowledge of SAP GRC / Access Control solutions is a plus;


• Experience with Identity Governance \& Administration (IGA) concepts and access lifecycle management;


• Strong understanding of RBAC and ABAC authorization models;


• Experience with compliance controls, audit preparation, evidence handling, and remediation tracking;


• Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management processes;


• Experience working on IAM and security projects in on\-premise and cloud environments;


• Ability to assess security risks and implement sustainable remediation measures;


• Strong documentation skills for policies, governance models, procedures, and control descriptions;


• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a pragmatic and hands\-on mindset;


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;


• Ability to explain complex security topics to technical and non\-technical audiences;


• Structured and detail\-oriented working style;


• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in dynamic environments;


• Experience working with waterfall, hybrid, and Agile delivery models;


• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
