Position: Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: Porto, Portugal \| Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office
Main responsibilities:
- Define the overall SFCC B2B architecture, including storefront, integrations, data
- Translate business and B2B commerce requirements into scalable SFCC technical
- Lead solution design for complex B2B features such as account hierarchies, price
- Design and oversee integration architecture with ERP (SAP), CRM, PIMS, CDB,
- Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and governance models for SFCC
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SFCC developers and offshore/onshore
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, performance optimization, and security
- Support cutover, go‑live, and post‑launch stabilization, including performance tuning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects.
Requirements
- 10 years of professional experience
- Senior expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B Commerce / SFRA)
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge:
o Salesforce Sales Cloud (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities).
o Salesforce APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Deep understanding of:
o Integration patterns (event\-driven, API\-led, middleware).
o Authentication and security (OAuth, SSO, roles, permissions).
- Experience with:
o Performance optimization and caching strategies.
o CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
o Architecture documentation skills (solution diagrams, integration
blueprints).
- Deep understanding of B2B digital commerce processes (quoting, contract
- Experience transforming legacy eCommerce platforms to Salesforce Commerce
- Strong knowledge of end\-to\-end order lifecycles, from storefront to fulfillment
- Familiarity with automotive industry business models (dealer networks, tiered
- Experience working in global, multi\-brand, multi\-country commerce
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
