Sales Team Leader - Insurance

One Sure Insurance is an independently owned UK insurance broker with five offices across the country, including our Head Office in Stoke‑on‑Trent. We’re recruiting two Sales Team Leaders to bring support into our Sales Team Leadership team.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

You will:

• Lead and motivate a team of sales advisors to reach individual and team targets


• Support the Sales Manager with compliance, quality and performance standards


• Ensure full adherence to FCA, TCF and all regulatory requirements


• Review daily performance and provide coaching, feedback and development


• Hold monthly KPI meetings and deliver regular 1:1 coaching


• Support with rota planning, call queue management and workflow allocation


• Provide training to new and existing staff, encouraging continuous self‑development


• Handle performance reviews where required and contribute to recruitment activity


• Act as a role model for customer focus, professionalism and high standards

• Previous experience in insurance is essential


• Experience of leading a team is essential


• Proven ability to manage performance, coach teams and drive results


• Strong understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles


• Knowledge of FCA guidelines, TCF and compliance frameworks


• Confident communicator who can influence, motivate and lead by example


• Ability to analyse data, make decisions under pressure and manage workloads effectively


• Honest, open and professional approach with colleagues, customers and partners


• Customer‑centric mindset that aligns with One Sure’s values


• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate


• Ability to collect, analyse and present information effectively


• Professional approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making

• £26k–£28k salary depending on experience


• Uncapped commission with £40k\+ OTE easily achievable


• Monday to Friday \& every other Saturday (38\.33 hours)
