Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. This role involves providing high\-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. Experience in nursery settings and childcare management is highly desirable. Duties

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age\-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development

  • Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans and attentive supervision

  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning

  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in compliance with regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child's development

  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies

  • Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism at all times

  • Assist with organising outings or trips that enhance the children's learning experiences

  • Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting (nursery experience preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required

  • Relevant childcare qualifications such as Level 2/3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent are preferred but not essential for all roles
This role requires a caring, organised individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your valuable contribution.

Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
