Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Office based, with some hybrid Working Available
Optional Weekend Overtime Available (Paid in Addition)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing business in Tarporley as a Sales Support / Invoicing Import Documentation Controller.

Working within a friendly team of 5-6 people, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting customers, processing orders, managing import documentation and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of commercial operations.

This is a varied role that combines customer communication, sales administration, order processing and document control. Much of your customer interaction will take place via email and WhatsApp, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent service without the pressure of a targeted sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a primary point of contact for customers via email, WhatsApp and telephone


• Processing customer orders accurately through a bespoke internal system


• Generating invoices and supporting documentation using Sage


• Preparing, checking and managing import and customs-related documentation


• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and within required timescales


• Providing customers with updates regarding orders, shipments and deliveries


• Liaising with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries


• Maintaining accurate customer, order and shipment records


• Supporting the wider commercial team with administrative duties


• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

About You

You'll also possess:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy


• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously


• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office


• A proactive and organised approach to work


• A customer-focused mindset

Experience using Sage would be advantageous but is by no means essential, as training can be provided.

Previous import/export or food industry experience would be beneficial but is not required.
