PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR - 2 YEARS PQE

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ PQE to join our clients Private Client team in Tarporley. The role requires solid experience in wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, basic estate administration and straightforward trust matters. You will manage your own caseload, provide clear and practical advice and maintain high standards of client care, file management and compliance.

What You’ll Be Involved In

• Manage a varied Private Client caseload, primarily covering wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, basic estate administration and straightforward trust matters.


• Draft clear, accurate and legally sound documents, including wills, LPAs, probate papers, estate correspondence and related matter documents.


• Advise clients in a professional, sensitive and reassuring manner, explaining options clearly and keeping them updated throughout their matter.


• Progress files efficiently, meet key dates, maintain accurate records and work in line with the firm’s procedures, compliance requirements and client care standards.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in Private Client work.


• Confident handling wills, LPAs, grants of probate and basic estate administration, with the ability to deal with straightforward trust matters or a willingness to develop this area with support.


• Able to manage your own caseload responsibly, prioritise work, progress matters without unnecessary delay and maintain accurate file records.


• Strong drafting, organisation and attention to detail, with a practical approach to problem solving and risk management.


• Excellent client care skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, build trust and deal sensitively with clients and families.
