Job Description

As our business continues to develop, we are looking for a new addition to our sales team. The successful candidate will be a team player but also have the initiative to work on their own. They will also be competent user of Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a good sense of humour and a professional and courteous manner when dealing with clients. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to move into a Regional Account Manager role at a future date.

Key Tasks /Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Sales, Regional Account Managers and senior managers to always deliver exceptional customer service to our client base

  • Answering the telephone and responding to clients as required

  • Sending price and delivery information to clients as it requested, and advising production lead times

  • Identifying development opportunities and potential new clients through day\-to\-day engagement and advising the senior sales team

  • Monitoring our online live chat facility and answering customers queries as they arise

  • Helping to ensure that all clients are up to date with the latest promotions and product launches

  • Supporting colleagues, senior managers and company directors where required

  • General office duties, including filing and paperwork
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft

  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors

  • Good organisational and time\-management abilities

  • Can do attitude

  • Positive and has a willingness to learn

  • Attention to detail

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Be proactive and be confident to ask questions

  • Be able to own tasks and see them through

  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative

  • Be a team player and be able to work well with others

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Pay: £26,436\.29 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
