What will the role be about?

This role plays an important part in supporting the commercial growth of Petit Forestier Netherlands. As a Sales Representative M/F, you will focus primarily on generating new business opportunities, identifying potential clients, and actively approaching prospects to expand the customer base.

The position offers a strong learning environment with a clear development path, allowing you to develop your commercial skills and grow within the sales organization over time.

You will work closely with the Country Manager Netherland and an experienced Account Manager Southern Netherlands, who will guide and support you in your day\-to\-day activities. In this role, you will also collaborate with local depot managers to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Prospecting \& Business Development

  • Actively contribute to prospecting activities to acquire new customers in line with the Group’s growth strategy.

  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of B2B leads using CRM, field visits, industry events, and targeted campaigns.

  • Identify and respond to market opportunities, including the growing demand for electric vehicles, by promoting PF’s green solutions and full\-service refrigerated fleet.

  • Approach and engage new client segments, such as food logistics, retail, pharma, and last\-mile distribution.
Sales Execution \& Commercial Growth
  • Support the commercial process from initial contact through to contract agreement and handover to operations.

  • Prepare tailored rental proposals in line with operational capabilities and pricing guidelines.

  • Contribute to monitoring customer performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results.

  • Work closely with the Country manager, Account Manager Southern Netherlands and depot managers to ensure smooth implementation and follow\-up.
Who are we looking for?
  • A strong commercial drive with a hunter mindset and motivation to win new business.

  • A confident and enthusiastic communicator, comfortable engaging with clients.

  • Eager to learn and develop sales skills in a B2B environment.

  • Proactive and results\-oriented, with a hands\-on mentality.

  • Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales and operations.

  • Basic experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office is a plus.

  • A valid B driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role (or a strong motivation to pursue a career in sales).

  • Interest in B2B sales within sectors such as mobility, logistics, or transport.

  • Relevant education in a commercial field (vocational or bachelor’s level), or equivalent through experience.

  • You are confident in using MS office applications and CRM systems

  • You hold a valid Class B driving license

  • Dutch: Fluent (native).

  • English: Professional level.

  • French is a plus.
