Sales \& Operations Coordinator

Location: West Midlands (with occasional travel to sites and customer meetings)

Salary: £30,000per annum \+ Performance Bonuses

About Aquatech Civils

Aquatech Civils are specialists in attenuation and lining services, delivering projects across the UK for groundworkers, civil engineering contractors, developers and consultants.

Our services include attenuation tanks, geomembrane lining systems, geotextiles, lagoons, ponds, gas membranes and associated drainage infrastructure. As a growing business, we are looking for a Sales \& Operations Coordinator to help drive our next stage of growth.

The Role

This is a key position within the business, supporting both sales and operational activities.

You will work closely with the Managing Director to help win work, maintain strong customer relationships, coordinate projects and ensure the smooth day\-to\-day running of the business.

No two days will be the same. One day you may be following up quotations and speaking with customers, and the next you may be organising site teams, booking accommodation or coordinating supplier deliveries.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of tasks and wants to grow with a fast\-moving construction business.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales \& Customer Support

  • Prepare and issue customer quotations

  • Follow up quotations and track opportunities through the sales pipeline

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors

  • Manage and update CRM systems

  • Identify new business opportunities and support lead generation activities

  • Assist with LinkedIn, email marketing and customer communications

  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations and sales activity

  • Support the Managing Director with customer meetings and presentations where required
Operations \& Project Coordination
  • Assist with scheduling labour, plant and materials

  • Coordinate supplier deliveries and project logistics

  • Book accommodation and travel for site teams

  • Monitor project progress and support operational planning

  • Maintain project records, documentation and handover information

  • Liaise with site teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Administration
  • Handle incoming enquiries and customer communications

  • Maintain organised electronic filing systems

  • Assist with invoicing, purchase orders and supplier administration

  • Produce reports and maintain business spreadsheets

  • Support process improvements across the business

  • General office administration duties
Skills \& ExperienceEssential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong communication and relationship\-building abilities

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Self\-motivated and proactive approach

  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable
  • Experience within construction, civil engineering, drainage, utilities or a related industry

  • Experience in sales support, customer service or business development

  • CRM experience

  • Experience coordinating projects, logistics or operations

  • Knowledge of estimating or quotation processes
