As we continue our growth journey, we are seeking an ambitious, commercially focused Sales Manager to lead, develop and scale our sales function.
This is a hands\-on leadership role where you will manage an established team of six sales professionals while continuing to drive your own sales activity. Reporting to the Head of Operations and the M.D, you will have significant influence over sales strategy, team development, customer retention, marketing performance and future business growth.

The Role
The Sales Manager will take ownership of the entire sales function, including:
● Leading and developing a team of six sales professionals.
● Setting the example by closing your own sales.
● Recruiting, onboarding and training additional sales staff as the business grows.
● Driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and customer retention initiatives.
● Managing the company's sales pipeline and CRM systems.
● Setting, monitoring and improving team KPIs and performance standards.
● Developing outbound business development and lead generation activities.
● Marketing to maximise lead generation and return on investment.
● Supporting the implementation and migration to a new CRM platform.
This role combines sales leadership, coaching, commercial strategy and operational management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership \& Team Management
● Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
● Conduct regular one\-to\-one meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions on scripts.
● Recruit, onboard and train new sales representatives.
● Build a high\-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results.
● Monitor call activity, conversion rates and sales performance metrics.
Sales \& Business Development
● Drive new business acquisition across all service lines.
● Personally contribute to sales activity and key account development.
● Develop outbound sales and business development programmes.
● Improve sales processes and conversion performance.
● Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.
Customer Retention \& Growth
● Develop strategies to improve customer retention and reduce churn.
● Identify upselling and cross\-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
● Monitor customer feedback and improve customer experience.
● Support the delivery teams in maintaining strong client relationships.
CRM \& Sales Operations
● Own CRM hygiene, reporting accuracy and pipeline management.
● Ensure all opportunities and customer interactions are properly recorded.
● Lead the migration and implementation of new CRM systems.
● Develop dashboards and reporting to support business decision\-making.
Marketing Oversight
● Manage marketing campaigns and associated budgets.
● Work closely with external marketing providers.
● Analyse campaign performance and optimize lead generation activities.
● Ensure marketing and sales functions operate in alignment.
Key Performance Indicators
The Sales Manager will have direct responsibility for achieving and improving:
● Average Order Value (AOV)
● Total Value of New Sales
● Speed to Lead
● Customer Retention and Churn Rates
● New Subscription Growth
● Sales Conversion Rates
● Sales Team Call Activity Levels
● Pipeline Value and Forecast Accuracy

About You
We are looking for a commercially aggressive and highly driven sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results.

● Telesales Manager
● Regional Sales Manager
Experience from high\-performance sales environments will be particularly attractive, including:
SaaS, Facilities Management, Car Hire, Telecommunications, Storage \& Logistics or Similar target\-driven organisations

● Proven experience managing and developing sales teams.
● Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
● Experience managing CRM systems and sales reporting.
● Excellent coaching, leadership and recruitment skills.
● Commercially astute with strong analytical ability.
● Experience developing outbound sales activities.
● Ability to operate in a fast\-paced and growth\-focused environment.
