About our client and the roleLocation: Remote first

Contract: Employed, Full\-time hours

The company
A profitable, growing UK consumer technology business operating in a high\-trust financial category. The company runs a portfolio of consumer products with significant transaction volume across the UK and North America, and is building toward a next\-generation platform that converts occasional, moment\-driven users into habitual year\-round customers. The business funds its own growth from a strong balance sheet rather than external burn, and is entering its most ambitious product phase.

Charity, Mosque \& Community Partnerships · UK based, Birmingham\-leaning · Remote\-first with regular UK travel

The role

This is a new business role. You are accountable for generating and developing new charity, mosque and partnership opportunities, and for the growth those partnerships deliver on the platforms we operate. Partner agreements, fee tiers and platform access are decided by the platform owner. Your job is to find the opportunity, build the relationship, shape the commercial recommendation and carry it through onboarding into a live, performing campaign.

They build and operate the technology behind MyTenNights, MyTenDays, MyFridays, MyFajr and GiveMatch, which together have facilitated hundreds of millions in donations across a global network of charities and donors. We have facilitated hundreds of millions in donations across a global network of charities and donors through MyTenNights, MyTenDays, MyFridays and GiveMatch. The infrastructure is built. The opportunity now is distribution, and this role exists to drive it.

You will report to the Head of Commercial \& Partnerships and own your own pipeline end to end.

This is not an inbound\-led role. You will build your own pipeline through proactive outbound, your existing network and face\-to\-face relationship building with charity, mosque and community leaders. Trust in this market is earned in person, so regular UK travel and attendance at relevant community and sector events are core parts of the job, not extras.

What you will own

New business generation

You own the new\-business number. You are accountable for generating and closing partnerships that contribute meaningful GTV and commercial value. You decide who to target, build the pipeline to reach them and close the business.

Prospecting and network\-led acquisition

Structured outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, events and introductions, combined with the relationships and referrals your network unlocks. You are expected to create your own opportunities and to keep creating them once early warm routes are exhausted.

Face\-to\-face relationship building

Regular time on the road across UK cities with significant Muslim and charity communities, meeting mosque committees, charity leadership and community organisations in person. You will represent the client at conferences, fundraising events and community gatherings, and turn those rooms into pipeline.

Full opportunity ownership.

Prospecting, discovery, solution shaping, recommendation, onboarding and first campaign. You run the process, set the next step at every stage and drive opportunities forward without being chased. Commercial terms are confirmed in writing by the platform owner before they are put to a partner, and you work within the pricing framework you are given..

Recommendation and approval discipline.

You build the commercial case for each partner, including proposed fee tier and terms, and put it forward for approval. Getting a clean, well\-evidenced recommendation approved quickly, and never committing outside an approved framework, is a core skill of this role.

Pipeline and forecasting discipline

Maintain a healthy qualified pipeline against target with accurate, current data in HubSpot. Every open opportunity has a clear owner, value, stage, close date and next action. Your forecast is one the business can plan against.

Ecosystem selling

Sell the wider client ecosystem rather than a single product. Understand what a partner is trying to achieve, identify the broader and longer\-term opportunity inside the account, and position the combination of products and campaigns that delivers it.

Commercial judgement

Decide where your time is best spent. Prioritise organisations and segments by quality and potential value rather than volume, qualify out early when the fit is not there, and bring a view on which segments we should be pursuing next.

Senior stakeholder navigation

Build credibility and trust with trustees, executive directors, imams, mosque committees and community leaders. Map decision makers early, build multiple relationships within an organisation and navigate governance\-heavy buying processes with patience and structure.

Handover into Customer Success

Close is the start, not the end. Hand over cleanly with the full context of the deal: what the partner is trying to achieve, what was promised, the campaign objectives and the expansion opportunities you identified during the sale.

Feedback loop into Product and Growth

You are the front line of the market. Surface recurring partner needs, objections, blockers and competitive signals in a structured way so Product and Growth can act on them.

What success looks like

  • New business signed against target, with a clear contribution to GTV and commercial performance.

  • A qualified pipeline that consistently covers target, weighted towards high\-value opportunities rather than volume.

  • Strong conversion through the funnel, with a shortening time to close as you build market credibility.

  • A meaningful proportion of closed business self\-sourced through outbound and your own network.

  • Partnerships that grow after signature, because the expansion potential was identified and handed over during the sale.

  • HubSpot that is accurate enough for the leadership team to forecast from without checking.

  • Product and Growth acting on market insight that came from you.
How performance is measured

Core focus: new business generated, pipeline quality and value, conversion, and commercial contribution. Activity matters, but it is an input, not the measure of success.

  • Number and value of partnerships taken live against target.

  • GTV generated by partnerships you sourced, through their first campaign cycle.

  • Value and quality of qualified pipeline against target coverage.

  • Recommendations approved first time, and speed from recommendation to live.

  • Proportion of pipeline and live partnerships that is self\-sourced.

  • Forecast accuracy and CRM data quality.

  • Quality of handover and post\-launch partner performance.

  • Value and quality of qualified pipeline generated against target coverage.

  • Conversion rate by stage and average deal value.

  • Proportion of pipeline and closed business that is self\-sourced.

  • Forecast accuracy and CRM data quality.

  • Quality of handover and post\-signature partner performance
Requirements

The person

You have a track record of winning new business in a consultative, relationship\-led environment, and you are motivated by building something from a standing start rather than managing an inherited book.

You are:

  • Self\-generating: you build your own pipeline and do not wait for leads to arrive.

  • Relationship\-led: you build trust quickly with senior people and are comfortable doing it face to face, in their environment.

  • Commercially sharp: you can tell the difference between a busy pipeline and a valuable one, and you prioritise accordingly.

  • Structured: you run a disciplined process with clear qualification, clean CRM data and reliable forecasting.

  • Consultative: you sell an outcome and an ecosystem, not a feature list.

  • Resilient: long, governance\-heavy sales cycles and quiet weeks do not knock you off your process.

  • High ownership: you take responsibility for the number and for everything that affects it, including what happens after close.

  • Culturally fluent: you understand, or can quickly learn, how charities, mosques and community\-led organisations make decisions and what earns their trust.
Essential
  • Demonstrable experience closing new business in B2B sales, partnerships or business development.

  • Evidence that you have personally sourced and closed business, rather than only worked pre\-qualified or inbound leads.

  • Experience selling into organisations with multiple stakeholders and committee or board\-led decision making.

  • Comfort building relationships face\-to\-face and travelling regularly across the UK.

  • Disciplined CRM and pipeline management, ideally in HubSpot.

  • Right to work in the UK and based in the UK.
Highly desirable
  • An existing network across UK charities, mosques or Muslim community organisations that you can activate from day one.

  • Experience selling into mission\-driven, faith\-based or community\-led organisations.

  • Understanding of Ramadan and seasonal fundraising dynamics and how they shape charity planning cycles.

  • Experience in S
