About the role

Kevin O'Leary Group has been operating in the Irish motor trade since 1963\. With multiple locations across Munster and a diverse business range, we employ in excess of 180 people. At our Clonmel location we hold franchises for Opel, Renault and Dacia, alongside a busy used vehicle business and an established aftersales department.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Clonmel. The successful candidate will be a selling sales manager, drive the performance of the sales department, build and develop a high\-performing team of sales executives, and ensure the highest level of satisfaction for every customer, while consistently meeting sales targets and standards across new and used vehicles, finance, insurance, warranty and accessory products.

Duties \& key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve volume sales targets and retain a target margin across new and used vehicles


• Implement and monitor an effective sales process across the team, ensuring consistency, compliance and a first\-class customer experience


• Maximise sales and profitability through customer satisfaction, retention and repeat and referral business


• Manage stock levels, pricing and presentation of new and used vehicle inventory


• Drive sales of finance, insurance, warranty and accessory products, ensuring the team meets penetration targets


• Recruit, coach and develop sales executives, setting individual targets and reviewing performance


• Maintain full product knowledge across the team of all products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors


• Liaise closely with our franchise partners (Opel, Renault and Dacia) and report directly to the Dealer Principal / General Manager

• A proven track record of at least 5 years' sales experience in a competitive environment, including experience leading or supervising a sales team


• Customer focused, with excellent leadership and communication skills


• Experience selling finance and finance products, with a relevant qualification


• A proven ability to hit and exceed monthly sales targets, both personally and as a team


• Enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to building a high\-performing sales team


• A background in developing new business alongside maintaining strong existing customer relationships


• Experience with a leading volume franchise is a distinct advantage

Salary

€70,000 – €100,000 per annum, on target earnings

Package

Basic \+ commission, uncapped commission, company car
